oops

Wow.

I haven’t been blogging for 2 months. Okay. Anyway no one reads so, well. Not gonna self pity anymore. Haha!

School’s coming to an end. Hallehlujah. Though my school sucks, I will miss my classmates terribly. I have created fond memories with each and everyone of my classmates, whether they like me or not (and vice versa lah, =x)… And I’m gonna miss some people terribly.

Like my groupmates, Lily (best buddy), Peifang (Penny, always turns up for school no matter rain or shine, well or unwell), and my 3oh3 Nadia… thanks for being wonderful groupmates! We work really well together and I love the way we accomodate each other’s stupidity while at work. =x

My seniors in class like Choke Seng, Diana, Christina… thanks for giving me so much advice and insights into life.

My sister in Christ, Jayne… thanks for being a dear sister and for listening to me. Love you, and stop smoking and start going back for service, okay? =)

The big brothers and sisters like Cat, and Andrew (the childish freak), Benjamin… you guys are so cool, the bridge between the kids and the seniors. Will miss the lunch dates with you guys, especially Cat.

the f4 group… freesia and her good mornings… Soleha(the future pattissier), Sophia (air stewardess), Haizzel, Renuka, Ruthra, Khairah… thanks for adding the interesting bits in class. I will remember Haizzel and Choke Seng’s “my man” relationship. Haha!

As we sing Auld Lang Sye, let’s hope we will not forget that we once crossed paths with one another. We will drift apart, but I will not forget all of you, definitely. Thanks for the memories. =)

Ahh. Let’s move on.

The past 3 weeks has been tormenting for me, going for job interviews and getting rejected, the cycle just kept repeating. And it was worse because my school didn’t help much in the so-called job placement thingy. So much feud between me and the staff, they only recommended me 1 hotel opening when they got my friends like 4.

Anyway, I managed to get a job on my own accord. Passed all my interviews for the position of Front Office Agent in Meritus Mandarin Singapore. WOO! Waiting for the confirmation call from HR… :) ) But the front office manager (my future manager, Ben) has assured me that I got the job because the GM has already agreed to employ me. So, just wait lor! Hehe.

Though its not a really fantastically high paying job, I am really happy that I managed to secure a job on my own. This is the first time I got through an interview without any connections or anything. Heh. What makes me even happier is that I finally got my birthday present from God – a direction in my life. I should be working on my 21st birthday, but it’s fine. I’m really happy that at least I have secured a job in a good hotel, something that I wanted ever since I was in poly… I’m sure I will be able to learn a lot and I’m looking forward to experiencing all sorts of odd shifts and interesting people!

I can’t wait!

But there’s one worrying thing on my mind though – not being able to send Baby off at the airport when he leaves for Taiwan on October 7th. I really hope I can send him off, perhaps arrange to work morning shift. I really want to be there to see him… 3 long weeks. I must be strong for him. =) I love you hubby… muacks!

the upcoming weekend will be pretty short for me and baby as he will only be booking out on sat late afternoon. Sigh…

looking forward to the new phase of my life of becoming a MERITUS AMBASSADOR! WOOO!!

Lastly, thank You Father, for making this 9 months a wonderful one. Thank You for answering to my prayers and for presenting me such a wonderful gift for my birthday. I’m sorry if I doubted you during the past few weeks and I seek your forgiveness. Thank You Father…

Amen!
